It’s amazing to see hard work pay off. The Olde York record Shallow World was finally released to significant praise. It’s surreal seeing numerous hardcore blogs review the album positively. In Effect even listed one of the tracks on their end of the year best of “mix-tape.” We’re starting off next year with a 19 show European tour and a good amount of hype surrounding it. We’re opening for Agnostic Front, H2O, and Hatebreed on the Persistence Tour one night too.
I got to play a few shoes with Justice Tripp, Lou Medina, and Mike Dijan in Sai Nam which is an unbelievable honor. Although I didn’t participate in the recording of the record it’s amazing to be a part of the live show based on a record that is on a ton of best-of lists this year.
Finally, I’ve been playing regularly locally with On the Offense who are a good group of dudes and give me a great chance to just be a bassist with only a little pressure on my shoulders.
I’ve been active as hell and I hope things only pick up from here.
